Role • Support existing district, Health sub districts (HSD) and facility inventory management systems to make them more responsive and transition them into an integrated national LMIS system

Post: Monitoring and Evaluation, Logistics Management Information System (M and ELMIS). Coordinators
Location: Lira, Mbarara and Fort Portal

Overall Responsibilities:
• Support existing district, Health sub districts (HSD) and facility inventory management systems to make them more responsive and transition them into an integrated national LMIS system.
• Work closely with the M and E Technical Advisor -pharmacy division and other MOH stakeholders to determine indicators for monitoring the LMIS performance and to set up an LMIS system at the district, HSD and facility levels. S/he shall ensure that staff are using the appropriate indicators
• Support the strengthening of health facilities in revitalizing the keeping and management of pharmaceutical management data and its utilization
• Capacity building of LMIS users in the use of appropriate tools to upload and monitor data, reporting problems, and the hardware and software components of the LMIS.
• Ensure availability and proper performance of the systems and resources in liaison with the Information Systems Assistants and the IT Specialist.

Requirements:
1) Bachelors degree in Information Technology or in any health related field with experience and training in Information Technology 2) Experience and training in monitoring and evaluation of programs 3) Demonstrated experience implementing and using systems such as LMIS, HMIS, and others used by the Government of Uganda and USG implementing partners. 4) Strong fundamentals in warehouse management and logistics and supply chain management 5) Experience in working with large databases and in analyzing data 6) Capacity building skills 7) Willingness to stay and travel widely within the assigned region

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (AA)

The Accounts Assistant will provide clerical support to Programme Accountant and will be responsible for keeping financial records. S/he will prepare payments, cash book, updating ledgers, monthly bank reconciliation statements, and petty cash, for approval of Programme Accountant. Monitor vehicle fuel account and usage of project vehicles. Will follow up accountability and advances, and assist in preparation of Project Monitoring Reports and Debtors schedules for follow up.

Qualifications and experience
a) The post requires a diploma in Finance and Accounting or any other related field.
b) At least three (3) years working in a related field;
c) Prior experience of EOF procedures in preferred.
d) Proficiency in computer required including use of relevant accounting software.
